How to price a fence

Count posts (length รท spacing + 1), rails and pickets, add concrete, then labor: crews often install somewhere around 100โ€“150 feet a day on easy ground, and much less in rock or roots. Add gates separately, then price the whole job to your margin. The price per foot falls out of the math.
